What to check before ordering
- Your balcony isn't timber, and the building has no excluded cladding or wall remediation. Run the check.
- You have written permission if you rent or own on a lease. Permission letters.
- There's a weatherproof outdoor socket within reach, with modern RCD protection.
- Your railing or wall is long enough. Try the fit check.
Kits you won't find here
Some plug-in kits are made for gardens, and their makers say they aren't suitable for balconies. We don't sell those on this site.
Every kit we list will be made for a balcony and listed as Compliant on the Energy Networks Association's Type Test Register.
